The Big Picture

Here’s the Big idea

Restore Church believes that God has created this world for people to know and enjoy him.  However, humans have rebelled against God.  This rebellion is called sin. Sin creates the brokenness and pain that is all around us.  Though people have caused this brokenness, God has lovingly decided to offer a solution: God sent His Son Jesus into the world to die for the sins of humanity and to offer new life to all who trust in Him.

Gather: We gather to celebrate Jesus

Therefore, Restore Church is here to celebrate and proclaim Jesus to those who are hurting.  Our Sunday morning gatherings are a time for believers and non-believers to hear and celebrate what Jesus has done.

Grow: We grow in relationship with Jesus and his followers

While Jesus was here on earth, he valued and modeled deep relationships with his followers (disciples).  His disciples internalized and passed on Jesus’ passion for relationships.  This relational method of experiencing Jesus is passed down to us today.  This process of learning how to love God and others from Jesus and other disciples is called disciple making.  When a person begins to follow Jesus, they are called to be a disciple maker and share what they have learned.  God designed us to experience healing and transformation through disciple making relationships.  Therefore, Restore Church offers many avenues for people to have relationships and discussions around Jesus.

Gift: We gift Jesus’ love to those around us

Finally, Jesus came not to be served but to serve others.  We follow his example.  We look for many ways to love and serve our community.
